Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These Terms form a contract between you and Zerophia for use of Wasla (wasla.zerophia.com). They apply wherever you use the Service. Where we host user content, they also reflect platform rules under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).
1. Role of Wasla
Wasla is an online platform that hosts chapter pages, event listings, and booking flows. Unless we expressly organise an event ourselves, hosts are the organisers of their events. We are not a party to agreements between hosts and attendees about attending an offline activity, except for organizer subscriptions and host-side fees when payment is processed through us. Joining events and communities on Wasla is free for attendees. Hosts may collect payment via an external link (no Wasla fee) or through Wasla (host fee per transaction).
Under the DSA we act as a hosting provider for user-generated listings and related content. We are not obligated to generally monitor all content, but we act on valid notices of illegal content (see Notice & action).
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 (or the higher age required where you live).
- Provide accurate information; keep credentials confidential.
- Members browse and join free; hosts publish with an active organizer plan processed by Stripe (promo codes only via Stripe Checkout).
- By creating an account you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Community Guidelines.
3. Host obligations & warranties
If you publish as a host, you represent and warrant that:
- you have the right to organise and promote the event;
- listings are accurate (time, place, capacity, price, audience, alcohol, prayer/wudu notes) and not misleading;
- the event complies with applicable law, venue rules, insurance, and safety requirements;
- content does not infringe IP, privacy, or personality rights of others;
- you will not use Wasla for illegal gatherings, hate, exploitation, fraud, or prohibited categories in our Community Guidelines.
You remain solely responsible for the offline event, attendees you admit, and any consumer or contract claims arising from your event (except claims solely about our platform billing errors).
4. Attendees
Bookings may create a direct arrangement with the host. Joining on Wasla is free for attendees. Host-side fees (when payment is processed through us) and organizer subscriptions are disclosed before confirmation. Attend at your own judgment; verify details with the host if needed. We do not guarantee event quality, attendance, or that an event will proceed as listed.
5. Fees, Stripe, VAT, subscriptions
- Organizer Pro is billed via Stripe; taxes (e.g. NL VAT) may apply.
- Coupons/promotions are applied only in Stripe Checkout.
- Subscription renewals continue until cancelled in the Stripe billing portal (or as Stripe allows).
- EU consumers: for digital subscriptions you may have a 14-day withdrawal right unless you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge loss of that right where required by law. Stripe Checkout flows and emails may include required disclosures.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts for violations, legal risk, or security reasons.
7. Notice of illegal content (DSA)
To report allegedly illegal content, use Notice & action or email abuse@zerophia.com. Provide a precise URL/event id, description of illegality, and your contact details. We will review and act in a timely, diligent, and objective manner as required.
8. IP licence
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Zerophia a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. Platform software and branding remain ours.
9. Indemnity (hosts & business users)
To the extent permitted by law, hosts and business users will indemnifyZerophia against claims, fines, and costs arising from their events, listings, or violation of these Terms or law — except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be limited under Dutch/EU mandatory law (including consumer rights, product liability where applicable, intent/gross negligence).
Otherwise, our aggregate liability related to the Service is limited to the greater of fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or losses from offline events organised by hosts.
11. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate for breach, legal risk, non-payment, or prolonged inactivity. Provisions that by nature should survive (liability, indemnity, IP, governing law) survive termination.
12. Governing law & disputes
Dutch law applies. Courts of Amsterdam have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections and the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
